Diatom bricks are mainly made of natural porous diatomite as raw materials, which are
extruded and sintered by adding a small amount of combined clay and combustibles. It has the advantages of small bulk density, moderate strength, low thermal conductivity, good
energy-saving and thermal insulation effect, etc. It is mainly used as thermal insulation
material for industrial kilns, other thermal equipment and thermal pipelines. Generally, it can
withstand the hot surface temperature of about 1000 °C.
