Thermal insulating concretes characterized by density, thermal conductivity and strength, intended for application by shotcrete. They have low fluidity, set and harden quickly. They are not recommended for pouring, in which case similar ALAX mixtures should be used. |
ALIGAN 25/4 | A shotcrete mix with reduced Al2O3 content, with high resistance to alkalis, chlorides and sulphates, for use in low-temperature zones of thermal units in the cement and power industries. |
ALIGAN 37-40 ALIGAN 37-50. ALIGAN 37-50K ALIGAN 37-40/20 ALIGAN 45/5 ALIGAN 50/7 |
High cement content shotcrete with increased strength and abrasion resistance compared to similar ALCOR concretes. They are noticeably inferior to low-cement mixtures in terms of abrasion resistance, but are significantly superior to them in terms of thermal insulation properties. Characterized by low rebound and good adhesion, they set and harden quickly. They have a “viscous” consistency suitable for shotcrete, but when excess water is added they can be poured by pouring with intense vibration. When using the pour-in-place method, be aware that these concretes set quickly. In this case, the use of retarders is recommended. ALIGAN 37-50 and ALIGAN 50/7 due to combination of low thermal conductivity and rather high abrasion resistance became basic materials for single-layer lining of reactors and regenerators of catalytic cracking units with dusty catalyst. ALIGAN 37-50K mix has increased acid resistance. |

Low cement shotcrete mixes with low rebound and good adhesion, set and harden quickly. They are highly fire resistant. Strengthened by heat. When retarders are added, can be poured by pouring. ALIGAN 50/3, ALIGAN 50/3A, ALIGAN 80/3A, ALIGAN 83 have high strength and abrasion resistance, only slightly inferior to the corresponding deflocculated poured concrete. ALIGAN 50/1,5, ALIGAN 60/2,5, ALIGAN 69/2,5, ALIGAN 80/2 are high-temperature shotcrete mixtures with application temperature of 1600°C and higher. Mixtures with idex “A” may be operated in a reducing atmosphere. |

Ceramic-bonded shotcrete mixes do not contain aluminatcalcium cement. After application they have low mechanical strength, but when heated they harden due to sintering. They set slowly, so they can be applied by hand. They’re not suitable for pouring. Linings made from these mixtures can be dried on an accelerated schedule. |
