Ferrovanadium Nitride

Description

Ferrovanadium Nitride, also known as Vanadium-Nitrogen Alloy, represents an innovative alloy additive that holds the potential to replace traditional Ferro Vanadium in the manufacturing of microalloyed steel. When introduced to steel, Ferrovanadium Nitride enhances multiple properties including strength, toughness, ductility, and resistance to thermal fatigue. Impressively, this novel vanadium nitrogen alloy demonstrates superior performance compared to both ferrovanadium and vanadium nitride.

This alloy finds widespread application across various steel products, contributing significantly to the reinforcement of high-strength spiral mosquito mesh, high-strength pipeline steel, and structural steel components like H-beams, I-beams, channel steel, and angle steel. It also proves valuable in the production of thin slab continuous-casting and rolling high-strength steel strips, non-quenched and tempered steel, as well as high-speed tool steel. Remarkably, Ferrovanadium Nitride exhibits an impressive recovery rate exceeding 95%, with an average absorption rate ranging 3% to 5% higher than that of traditional vanadium nitrogen alloy. It stands out for its exceptional stability, enhanced grain refinement, and the augmentation of strength, toughness, and ductility.
